Rating Summary
This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Spider-Man as he attempts to stop an evil scientist from altering the future. As players jump and swing through side-scrolling levels, they punch, kick, and use web-based attacks to dispatch cartoonlike adversaries and larger bosses (e.g., robots, armored security guards, mutant creatures); enemies blink when hit, and disappear when defeated. One female character is depicted in a form-fitting bodysuit that accentuates her cleavage. Some of the dialogue contains suggestive comments and innuendo (e.g., “Maybe sometime you can handle me,” “[T]his kitty's not averse to giving a whole new meaning to the term 'cougar,'” and “I just made you a date with a fast girl.”).
