Rating Summary
Crash City Mayhem is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Mild Language and Mild Violence. This is an action racing game in which players assume the role of an undercover spy for a top-secret agency. As players embark on various missions, they use an assortment of vehicles (e.g., sports cars, tanks, monster trucks) to drive around urban environments and crash into targets; a running tally of damages is displayed on-screen. Some missions allow players to shoot pistols or machine guns at enemy vehicles and police cruisers, resulting in realistic explosions. Collisions generally cause vehicles to flip into the air and/or catch on fire; pedestrians are occasionally seen jumping out of the way. The term “screwed the pooch” and the word “damn” appear in the dialogue.
