Shinobi™

This is a side-scrolling action game in which players assume the role of a mysterious ninja who battles evil forces around various 3D locations. Players use swords and throwing knives to kill waves of ninja, robot, and boss characters; gameplay also includes occassional gun battles and explosion effects. Characters sometimes cry out in pain when struck, and brief splashes of blood occur when characters are struck. Cutscenes also depict instances of violence: characters getting shot, slashed with swords, or hit by arrows—quick blood effects sometimes occur.
