Mystery Case Files™: The Malgrave Incident is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB with Alcohol and Tobacco Reference, and Violent References. This is a hidden-object game in which players assume the role of a detective tasked with collecting mysterious dust on a deserted island. Players solve puzzles and search for specific items among scenes of jumbled objects to advance the storyline. Some cutscenes contain references to past acts of violence (e.g., an explosion we are told kills and injures). Players are occasionally prompted to find cigars or bottles of wine/champagne.
