Battle: Los Angeles

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of US Marine soldiers fighting to save the city of Los Angeles from an alien threat. Players use grenades, machine guns, sniper rifles, turrets, and rocket launchers to shoot and kill robot-like creatures. The frenetic combat is highlighted by realistic gunfire, explosions, and cries of pain from wounded soldiers. When attacked, alien enemies emit brief splashes of blood before collapsing to the ground. Both in cutscenes and during gameplay, dead bodies (e.g., soldiers, civilians) are depicted in small pools of blood and/or with splashes of blood on their clothes. The words "sh*t" and "a*s" can be heard in the dialogue.
