This is a "point-and-click" adventure game based on the TV show House, M.D. Players can interview and examine hospital patients, perform medical tests, solve puzzles, and collect evidence to correctly diagnose various illnesses. During patient interviews, the dialogue occasionally references sexual acts (e.g., "When was Henry's last sexual encounter?" and "Did you use protection?"), sexually transmitted diseases (e.g., "Herpes? You've got to be kidding."), and pornography ("You don't even want to see what kind of porn Cuddy likes?"). Some dialogue, including jokes made by the central character, reference the abuse of controlled substances (e.g., "You look like you're on an all-heroin diet" and "Or maybe you're partial to the stuff those . . . hippies call 'wacky weed.'").
