Rating Summary
Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood and Gore, Crude Humor, and Violence.

This is an adventure game based on the TV show Man vs. Wild. Players assume the role of Bear Grylls, an outdoorsman who must use his wits and survival skills to endure extreme wilderness expeditions. Players can explore each environment, gather food, and engage in a variety of timed action sequences (e.g., skydiving, cliff-jumping, white-water rafting). Players are sometimes required to hunt animals, using a knife for a weapon; animals collapse to the ground when killed. Players must also escape various animal attacks (e.g., bears, cougars) via timed button presses. During the course of the game, players' character may eat various plants or insects, including poisonous ones that cause the character to vomit. Players can also unlock live-action scenes from the TV show, one of which depicts Bear drinking his own urine from an empty snakeskin. Other live-action clips depict Bear eating scorpions, a dead animal's eyeball, and other insects for protein. In one sequence, Bear cuts open a camel carcass and removes its organs and intestines, using the hide for protection in a sandstorm.
