Darkspore

This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of customizable creatures that must defeat the alien forces of Darkspore around the galaxy. From a top-down perspective, players explore various environments (e.g., dungeon-like caverns, mountaintops) as they bite, claw, spit fire/energy balls, and use sword-like weapons to kill fantasy creatures. Combat is generally fast-paced and frenetic, with enemies screeching or grunting when hit; defeated creatures emit splashes of blood that sometimes stain the ground.
