Outland

This is a 2D action-platformer in which players assume the role of a warrior who must stop magical deities from destroying the world. As players run and jump through side-scrolling levels, they use swords, energy beams, and dash attacks to defeat a variety of fantastical creatures (e.g., oversized spiders, dragons, jellyfish, human-like soldiers). Battles are accompanied by sword-slashing effects and cries of pain; defeated enemies dissolve into colorful light particles.
