This is a hidden-object game (i.e., seek-and-find) in which players assume the role of a police inspector who investigates several murders in 19th century London. Players solve puzzles and search for hidden clues among scenes filled with jumbled objects to advance the storyline. Some dialogue and text describe crime scenes and violent acts (e.g., "There were purplish marks around the dead man's neck," ". . . the life had been choked out of him," and ". . . the blood was most likely her attacker's, probably from being savagely scratched during a desperate struggle."). Text and dialogue also reference suggestive material (e.g., "a tantalizing amount of cleavage," "sailor who shared a lust-filled tryst" and "You mean to say she was a prostitute?"). The game contains a brief reference to hashish pipes and opium dens (e.g., "He doesn't seem the type who would frequent the ladies or opium dens).
