Rating Summary
Legends of Horror is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Drug Reference, Mild Blood, Suggestive Themes, and Violent References.

This is a hidden-object adventure game (i.e., seek-and-find) in which players solve mysteries based on characters such as Dr. Frankenstein, Jack the Ripper, and Bonnie and Clyde. Players search for hidden items on screens filled with jumbled objects as they search for clues and follow each storyline. Some sequences contain dialogue referencing violent acts (e.g., "[A] second woman has been found dead and savagely mutilated," "[E]yewitnesses can place you around the time of the murder!" and "[H]e killed himself here in the ditches . . ."). One scene depicts a room called a "torture chamber;" another scene depicts a bulletin board with a message scrawled in blood. The dialogue occasionally includes suggestive content (e.g., "You are aware that a young prostitute was killed very close to Buck's Row . . ." and "What a fantastic body, Janet!"/"Brad! Don't take advantage!"). In one sequence, the screen becomes blurry as it is hinted that players' character has ingested opium.
