The Hidden Continent: Column of the Maya

This is a seek-and-find adventure game in which players assume the role of a young archaeologist searching for an ancient treasure. Players search for hidden items among scenes of jumbled objects to solve puzzles and advance the storyline. The story text sometimes references human sacrifices in the context of ancient Mayan culture (e.g., "I wonder what the Maya did here. Idol worship, blood sacrifices, siesta?"). In-game dialogue also contains some flirtatious banter and suggestive innuendo (e.g., "Are you trying to flirt with me?" and "[I]t's so . . . big," "Don't let that intimidate you," "I was talking about the column, Miguel."). Liquor bottles and tobacco pouches are included as searchable items.
