Dead Nation

This is a top-down shooter in which players help a human survivor battle hordes of zombies that have overrun a post-apocalyptic city. As players traverse through levels, they can use rifles, machine guns, explosives, and flamethrowers to kill zombies and mutated monsters. Players can also employ melee attacks and use environmental objects (e.g., gas tanks) to dispatch multiple enemies at once. Blood-splatter effects occur when zombies are shot, and pools of blood and body parts sometimes appear on the ground. A few cutscenes and still-frame gallery images depict zombies impaled on bayonets or characters holding severed zombie heads.
