This is a seek-and-find adventure game in which players assume the role of Sinbad, a sailor who must locate gems to free a cursed princess. Players search for hidden items among scenes of jumbled objects to solve puzzles and interact with different characters. Still-frame cutscenes sometimes depict acts of violence: a spear held to a man's throat while a nearby character orders the man to be "[thrown] overboard!" One mini-game requires players to align pipes in the correct order to allow a volcano's "blood" to flow (e.g., "Look at the urn! It's full of blood."). A riddle-solving mini-game references both wine and beer as clues. The word "damn" appears in the dialogue.
