Uncharted Waters Online

This is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) in which players control adventurers, merchants, and soldiers in the 15th century. As players explore various environments, they can engage in occasional sea and land battles: from a top-down perspective, opposing sea vessels fire cannonballs at each other; brief sword-fighting sequences include slashing sounds and light effects. During the course of the game, players can interact with a female bartender; dialogue is indicated by on-screen text (e.g., "Do you have a girlfriend? I'm dying to know" and "That was fun . . . But you'll come over again, right?"). Players can also wager in-game credits on poker games within the tavern. As players explore the tavern and other market settings, they may purchase and consume various trade items, including alcoholic beverages (brandy, rum, whiskey, beer, etc.); if players consume too much alcohol, text reads, "You've passed out. You cannot drink anymore." Tobacco is also available as a trading item.
