This is a fighting game based on the animated TV series Naruto Shippuden. As the game's storyline progresses, players punch, kick, and slash at enemy characters in 2D platform environments while also executing special power moves (e.g., energy explosions, fireballs, clone attacks). Battles are generally fast-paced and frenetic; characters react to damage by falling down or getting knocked across the screen. During one sequence, a still image depicts a character with small amounts of blood trickling down his hand and from the corner of his mouth. Another cutscene contains dialogue that refers to a Sexy Jutsu attack that only works when customized to opponents' "physical preferences." Throughout the game, one character is continually referred to as Pervy Sage. The words "a*s," "bastard," and "dammit" appear in the dialogue.
