This is a seek-and-find adventure game in which players follow Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they investigate mysterious deaths and terrorist plots around London. Players "point-and-click" around crime scenes to search for clues and solve puzzles. Holmes and Watson discuss the demise of various characters (e.g., "The poor wretch is dead . . . It looks like he was killed a short while ago" and "Ermando committed suicide you say?"), and one sequence depicts a dead man's legs protruding from behind a desk. Holmes and Watson also look into the disappearance of a married woman who is speculated to have run off with a lover (e.g., "To find both her . . . and her lover. It is of no interest to me . . ."). During one scene, Holmes discovers a bottle of wine and wine-filled glasses, which are identified as clues.
