Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water's Edge

This is a "point-and-click" adventure game in which players assume the role of Nancy Drew as she investigates ghost appearances at a Japanese inn. Players search for clues in and around the inn, interview various suspects, and complete puzzles (e.g., properly grading papers, opening a complex lock) along the way. Several cutscenes involve instances of mild peril or violence; for example, a ghost leaping toward Nancy and shattering a mirror; screaming and ghostly mutterings; a character getting dragged into a pool. At the end of one puzzle sequence, Nancy desperately gasps for air after nearly drowning.
