This is a "point-and-click" adventure game in which players assume the role of Fenton Paddock, a rogue smuggler on a mission to find a lost friend and uncover ancient artifacts. Players can solve puzzles, interact with various characters, and follow a storyline depicted through cutscenes. A few cutscenes depict instances of violence: a character struggles with a soldier who is shot by enemy gunfire; an unarmed man is shot by the Gestapo; two characters engage in hand-to-hand combat, then one of them shoots the other. During a visit to a village, players may see pools of animal blood on the ground. In two prolonged scenes, characters are heard urinating. Characters occasionally use language such as "arse" and "hell."
