Rating Summary
This is a puzzle game in which players follow Professor Layton and his protégé as they attempt to solve a mystery surrounding a time machine. Players solve puzzles, explore town areas and time periods, and earn "Hint Coins" by tapping on conspicuous objects. The storyline sometimes depicts scenes of violence and injury: a group of henchmen use machine guns to shoot up a casino; a victim's extended arm protrudes from underneath a mound of rubble after an explosion.
