This is a 2D arcade-style fighting game in which players compete in one-on-one battles with a large international cast of selectable characters. Players mostly kick, punch, and use special abilities (e.g., fire attacks, fireballs, and energy attacks) to drain the opposing player's life meter. Special attacks (e.g., "Desperation Moves" and "Super Desperation Moves") can be initiated to cause larger amounts of damage to the opponent. Some attacks can cause small spurts of blood to appear as opponents are hit. Some female fighters wear revealing outfits, and their breasts sometimes jiggle during battle.
