Soul of Darkness

This is a side-scrolling action game in which players battle against monsters, zombies, and werewolves in an attempt to save a woman from an evil vampire. Kale, the central character, uses a fire sword and ice projectiles to kill enemies lurking in halls, rooms, caves, and underwater passages. Kale can also collect gems that enable him to transform into beings (e.g., fish, insect, water spirit) with special abilities and attacks. Some special attacks cause enemies to briefly spurt out a blood-like fluid when hit. Occasional boss battles involve more protracted one-on-one combat.
