This is a first-person shooter in which players try to save the earth from Martians. Players move ("on rails") through cities, farms, and interior locations and aim targeting crosshairs at cartoony Martians, blob creatures, UFOs, and hovering robots. Players must shoot the Martians to play though the game and are rewarded with points and upgrades for shooting enemies and miscellaneous objects (They are punished with reduced health and points for shooting civilians). Gun shots, laser sounds, and explosions are frequently heard; civilians also scream frequently.
