Dark Void Zero

This is a 2D platformer game in which players shoot tiny bullets and rockets at enemies to make their way through dimly-lit space environments. The scattered bugs, worms, and robots occasionally disappear in a small explosion when defeated. There are also more protracted boss battles in which players shoot at large spacecraft that ignite on fire and emit multiple bursts when destroyed.
