Rating Summary

Players control either Zuko, a Fire Nation admiral, or Aang, the Last Avatar, in this game that combines fighting, platformer, and puzzle-solving genres. Players use swords, hand-to-hand combat, and elemental attacks (fireballs, water balls, and air blasts) to defeat enemy soldiers and bosses. The fighting often involves frenetic "melee-style" combat against several enemies at once. Enemy soldiers lose their armor when hit and frequently cry out in pain during attacks; large spider-like creatures disappear from the screen when killed. The frequent combat is sometimes augmented by slow-motion effects and on-screen commands that prompt players to perform specific attacks: jumping in the air and coming down with a kick; stylized sword and staff swipes; fire attacks that blast away all enemies on the screen. The game also includes stealth attacks to incapacitate enemy soldiers, and first-person perspectives when attacking with fireballs.
