Scrap Metal

This is a top-down action-racing game in which players can compete and fight against other cars on street and off-road courses. While lap racing is a heavy focus of the game, players can also engage in demolition derbies, "survival" modes, and beat out the competition by firing lasers, flamethrowers, mines, rockets, and machine guns. The gunfire does sound realistic, but it is depicted by thin lines of orange light. Damage is indicated by debris falling off cars, collision sounds (metal hitting metal), and brief explosions of light. A couple of the female drivers have exaggerated-sized breasts or expose a fair amount of cleavage; some of the text contains mild innuendo (e.g., "Jane Junk Trunk" and "Are you enjoying seeing my front grill up close?"). In one scene, a man is depicted holding a cigar; and one of the mission stages is called "Moonshine Derby" as in "[T]he locals have been hitting the moonshine and started their own Derby!"
