Commander: Europe at War

This is a turn-based strategy game in which players choose to fight as the Axis or Allies during World War II. Players control troops on a hexagonal grid to defeat the enemy and gain territory until one side wins the war. Though players can often hear realistic guns firing and bombs exploding, the visual depictions are somewhat minimal: troop and plane icons moving across the overhead grid. The game contains historic footage of WWII soldiers marching and rolling out tanks, as well as some brief explosions.
