Thrown in a trunk and brought to a kidnapper's abandoned warehouse, the player-character (a woman named Helene) must escape rooms one-by-one in this puzzle-adventure game. The first voice Helene will hear is that of the abductor/kidnapper, whose demeanor and speech are reminiscent of recent villains from horror movies (e.g., ". . . did you say game, I love games . . ."). Players are prompted to search for specific items among scenes of jumbled objects; for example, the mundane (gloves, playing cards, roller skates) to the macabre (bones, fingernails, skulls). Some scenes depict bloodstained shirts, green blood-like splatter on dashboards, red bloodstains on walls. Though there are few overt acts of violence in the game, the pervasive imposition of the abductor's will on the victim seems analogous to a violent act: His omniscient and penetrating surveillance is unsettling—best reflected in victim/perpetrator exchanges such as "Please just let me go! Please just let me go!" and "Now, Helene. You know it's not polite to beg."
