Rating Summary

This is a sports-strategy game in which players compete in a fantastical version of football on a field with trolls, elves, dwarves, and goblins. Players take turns rolling dice to move around the football field and to score touchdowns. Players can also use unconventional tactics to gain an advantage, including bribing referees, punching-and-kicking opposing players, using an ogre to eat competitors, etc. Tiny sprays of red blood are frequently depicted when players get injured; some players lie in small pools of blood, which do disappear but are nonetheless striking. Dialogue between commentators often discusses the merits of performance-enhancing substances; for example, "What, not one player doped," "Nobody doped to the eyeballs . . . It's just not entertainment," and "They must have come up with an undetectable doping substance. I hope so, otherwise we're in for a dull match!" Cheerleaders and female players are depicted in short skirts and tight-fitting tops that expose large amounts of cleavage; one female character wears a dominatrix-style leather outfit—complete with brandishing whip, hotpants, and crossover "pasties."
