In this 2D side-scrolling platformer, a young ninja named Alex scampers across 8-bit environments to rescue his captured girlfriend. Alex wields a "cartoony" sword and can poke various enemies (jumping lobsters, fish, tiny samurai, etc.) that disappear in a puff of smoke; when Alex gets hit, his body blinks and loses a hit point. Though enemies sometimes brandish guns and fireballs, the 8-bit graphics along with the light color palette attest to the game's low violent impact—"blip," "bleep," and scratching sounds mean characters are hurt.
