Rating Summary
This is a first-person shooter in which players command a squad of marines through the streets of Beirut to battle a group of insurgents. Players use "run-and-gun" maneuvers to secure buildings, capture insurgents, and kill enemy soldiers. Realistic machine guns, mounted artillery, rifles, and grenades are also used to complete mission objectives. When enemies are hit by gunfire, they will emit thin puffs of red blood, and their bodies will sometimes flail to the ground (i.e., rag-doll physics). Although players have the ability to kill non-combatants (civilians, squad mates, surrendering enemies), this often results in a failed mission (after three casualties) as the game starts over.
