Fortix

This is a strategy game in which players control a small knight who must fence off or "claim" castle areas on a playfield. Viewed from a bird's-eye perspective, players cordon off the sections of land by walking on a baseline and drawing a closed shape—all while avoiding dangerous obstacles: cannon fire, fire-breathing dragons, and bats. Enemies may run into the knight or the baseline he is drawing, causing the creatures to disappear from the playfield (e.g., "The only way to kill them is to encircle them").
