Hot Wheels Battle Force 5

This is an arcade-style driving/combat game in which players "car-battle" with the "Sark" and "Vandals," dangerous aliens from another dimension. Based on the animated TV series Hot Wheels Battle Force 5, the game allows players to speed along futuristic tracks, find keys in each Battle Zone, and prevent aliens from invading Earth. Saving Earth means finding those keys to close leaky portals (before aliens enter); it also means ramming into vehicles, using a grappling hook to grab aliens, and shooting cars with "cartoony" plasma guns mounted on the top of vehicles. The actual depictions of combat are mild compared to the frequency of battle—two-thirds of the game is structured so that players must car-battle to progress through levels.
