Rating Summary
Chicken Riot is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Cartoon Violence.

Players use shotguns and machine guns to kill "cartoony" chickens in this first-person shooter. The chickens have decided to rebel against the farmer-players; they have decided to attack players with eggs, donuts, and over-sized bullets. As the voiceover announcer exclaims, "It's time for fried chicken!," players riddle the renegade chickens with a bevy of machine gunfire. Direct hits cause chickens to squawk loudly in pain, emit a burst of feathers, and flail to the ground. Slow-motion camera effects (intended as parody) and realistic gunfire contribute to the Teen rating.
