Rating Summary

A mysterious website draws people into the "mnemonic abyss," where players shuttle through the haunting memories of the dead in this survival-horror game. Players explore the dark passages of schools, hospitals, and homes; solve puzzles and unlock secrets; and attempt to return to the land of the living. Along the way, players will encounter humanoid ghosts that may lunge or grasp at players; amid echoing laughter and screams, ghosts may attack for prolonged periods, triggering an escalating heartbeat (i.e., a "horror meter") and a reddening screen. If players' character is overcome by the ghosts, a "Game Over" screen will signify the person's death. During the course of the game, players may enter the memories of characters that have died from accidents or have committed suicide.
