Rating Summary
Women's Murder Club: Twice in a Blue Moon is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Blood, Drug Reference, Mild Violence, and Sexual Themes.

This is a seek-and-find mystery game in which players search for specific items/clues on a screen full of objects. The story revolves around a string of copycat murders committed in various locations in San Francisco. Players must visit the crime scenes to gather clues, interrogate witnesses and suspects, and solve various mini-game puzzles (e.g., chemical analysis) to analyze the evidence and find the killer. Images of victims' bodies, including that of a murdered rape victim, are depicted through still-frame panels. One murder scene depicts a small pool of blood around a victim's body, a stab wound to the abdomen, and a slit neck (e.g.,"The killer made two slashes, very deep. He nearly took her head off."). During the course of the game, players will examine articles that mention rape and prostitution; characters sometimes discuss prostitution and rape in the context of the murders ("The Boston Strangler raped his victims. If the . . . victim was raped, we might get some DNA evidence."). A note found in the game mentions police being busy with a "crack house bust."
