Rating Summary
Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Alcohol Reference, Blood, and Violence.

This is a role-playing game (RPG) in which players control an adventurer on an elaborate quest through dungeon passages and mountain keeps. Viewed from a first-person perspective, players use various weapons (swords, daggers, Axes, arrows) and magic spells to destroy an assortment of "orcs," zombie dwarves, minotaurs, and dragons. When enemies are attacked, they usually grunt, gurgle, or scream out in pain. A brief blood splatter effect flashes on the screen to indicate player damage; small pools of blood appear on the ground and alongside medieval torture devices/instruments. Characters occasionally reference drinking wine, and there is one quest where players are sent to retrieve wine for a drunken orc.
