This is a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game based loosely on the classic work of Chinese literature called Journey to the West. Players navigate colorful anime-style landscapes and engage in missions/quests to "level up" their customizable characters. Players sometimes engage in hand-to-hand combat against fantastical creatures such as flying tigers, werewolves, and sword-wielding ghosts. Magic spells (e.g., lightning strikes, fire blasts, and ice attacks) and weapons (e.g., swords, spears, and bows) are used to defeat enemies. Although most attacks are accompanied by spiraling light effects, chime sounds, and cascades of color, some enemies growl or yell, "Oh no!," when defeated. One of the character's unique animations (i.e., emotes) depicts him being disgusted with something and throwing up a blue liquid.
