Astro Boy: The Video Game

This is a side-scrolling action game in which players guide a small robot named Astro Boy through futuristic landscapes while fighting various robot enemies along the way. Players use hand-to-hand combat, drillers, lasers, and even a "butt cannon" (i.e., a machine gun protruding from the buttocks) to destroy enemies and bosses. Characters react to getting hit by grunting, shouting, and disappearing in a fiery burst of light. The game includes an "Arena Mode" where players compete to destroy as many robots as possible in a given time.
