Scooby-Doo! First Frights

This is an action adventure game in which players control characters from the Scooby-Doo TV series. Players solve puzzles and collect clues, run across platforms, and navigate through levels that contain an assortment of traps (e.g., crumbling platforms, swinging axes, giant spears, and guillotines). Players also fight various ghosts, crabs, and giant robots by punching, kicking, and using weapons (rocket launchers, fire crackers, missiles). Enemies shriek or groan when hit, then disappear in a puff of smoke. Some boss fights involve more protracted battles, and a few cutscenes feature spooky characters (e.g., a headless villain) that menace Scooby Doo and the gang.
