Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga

This is an action role-playing game (RPG) in which players explore the fanstastical land of Eldar while performing quests and battling mythical creatures. Players use swords, axes, staffs, and magic spells to defeat enemies (e.g., dragons, demons, skeletons, tree-creatures) on a variety of 3-D landscapes. Characters/enemies receiving attacks step back when hit, are surrounded by fire/ice/wind images (from magic spells), and fall or disappear into a cloud of smoke. Direct or powerful attacks against enemies can sometimes result in a brief puff of blood. There is a quest in the game where players can fetch wine for a character who requests the favor (e.g., "They say booze is the best medicine."); other characters are sometimes depicted swaying and hiccupping (e.g., "You probably think I'm just a drunk.").
