This is a "point-and-click" adventure game based on the Dutch exotic dancer and prostitute Margarete Zelle (aka, Mata Hari). Players engage in a storyline concerning political intrigue and espionage. One of the objects of the game is to obtain classified information by seducing men, which is depicted through dialogue options (e.g., "seduction by dismissing," "seduction by dancing," "seduction by flattery," etc.). Some sequences progress from the ballroom to the bedroom and often imply sexual activity (e.g., "Why don't we discuss your fee in the comfort of my home?" and "too much exercise" in bed). During these sequences, the central character is often depicted wearing revealing lingerie, stockings, and sheer garments. Characters make occasional references to alcohol, including purchasing champagne at a bar and offering whiskey to a gentleman in bed. During the course of the game, players can come across a dead body and faded blood stains on the floor.
