Spectrobes: Origins

This is a role-playing game (RPG) in which players traverse through space, collect and examine artifacts, and battle enemy aliens to secure the galaxy. Players engage in frequent hand-to-hand combat with crowds of "glob"-shaped or animalistic creatures. Players can use magical spells (e.g., tidal waves, energy beams, etc.), lances, axes, and blasters to attack enemies that disappear in a cloud of smoke when defeated. Explosions, grunting sounds, and colorful bursts highlight the frenetic pace of combat.
