This is an action game in which players guide a chicken through platform environments to reach a forbidden castle. Players run and jump through "cartoony" 3D landscapes, ride piggyback on other characters, and fight an assortment of owls, snakes, hedgehogs, alligators, and wolves along the way. Player can use either a wooden mallet or a pumpkin gun to defeat enemies. The gun makes realistic firing sounds as it rapidly releases pumpkin seeds at owls and snakes. Some enemies disappear in a burst of feathers or emit puffs of green mist when hit by the seeds.
