This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of a private detective who solves various mysteries, including a series of murders. Players interact with characters by choosing text options (e.g., how to approach a character, how to reply, what types of punches to throw in defense, etc.). During the course of investigating, players will encounter references to characters that are shot, injured, or murdered. Some scenes include depictions of blood: red footprints that lead to a character wearing a bloodstained shirt; a body lying in a small pool of blood. Some cases contain clues that reference narcotics, weed, and a "drug trade," while one scene depicts white powder on a square paper wrapping. Dialogue occasionally contains suggestive references (e.g., an affair between characters, a "XXX perv," a reference to breast size, and the "horizontal waltz."). The words sh*t, a*shole, and d*ck also appear in the dialogue.
