This is an action/strategy game, set in the Wild West, in which players must rescue a kidnapped friend from the clutches of an evil villain. The game allows players to switch back-and-forth from a "zoomed-out" perspective (tactical) and a third-person view (action). Players guide their characters through towns, search for clues and objects, and shoot enemies by using a target crosshair. Weapons include realistic rifles, pistols, bow and arrow, and throwing knives. Bystanders and civilians can also be shot, however, the player is penalized for such actions with a "game over" screen. During the course of the game, players can encounter a "Beer Wagon" equipped with kegs and a picture of two frothy mugs. Some expletives (e.g., "son-of-a-b*tch," "bastards," and "hell") can be heard in the dialogue.
