Rating Summary
Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer is rated T for Teen by the ESRB with Alcohol and Tobacco Reference, Blood, Mild Language, and Violence.

This is a "point-and-click" adventure game that centers on a series of murders committed by a serial killer. As an FBI agent, the player investigates crime scenes in different international cities to find clues and analyze evidence. Thematic story elements are told through cutscenes and include depictions of recent murder victims: One man hangs from the rafters in a dark warehouse where discolored blood is smeared on the floor; A dead ballerina slumps forward with hooks sticking out of her back. During one cutscene, a character is shot and killed in a brief gun battle. Some dialogue contains expletives (e.g., "b*tch," "a*s," and "bastard") as well as references to wine and tobacco products (e.g., "When will I find a time for a glass of good wine?" and "Me smoking a pipe? I would reek of tobacco.").
