This is a 2D one-on-one fighting game in which players spar with other karate fighters in a tournament setting. Players punch and kick opponents in order to earn points from a referee. Competitors make a grunting sound when hit and fall down when defeated. In a mini-game, players must avoid flying objects such as blades and knives; if hit, they keel over and the mini-game ends.
