This is a "point-and-click" adventure game based on the CSI: NY TV show. Players solve four murder cases by visiting crime scenes and other locations, collecting evidence, processing the evidence at the crime lab, and interrogating suspects. Victims' deaths are depicted and examined in detail, including a man falling out of a window and hitting the ground and a woman who is shot through the chest at her computer. Evidence can sometimes include the examination of blood stains near bodies or "bodily fluids" on bed sheets. While interrogating suspects, players can encounter references to prostitution (e.g., "Local prostitute, with the usual tally—solicitation, possession"), sexual relationships between characters (e.g.,"Beth's 18 now, so it's all legal. And everything we did was consensual"), and drugs (e.g., "Addicts abound this area" and "…used it as their pad to get drugged up"). Some expletives (e.g., "a*s" and "damn") can also be heard in the dialogue.
