This is a boxing simulation game in which players can fight licensed and fictional boxers to become heavyweight champion of the world. Players box from a first-person perspective, using jabs, hooks, uppercuts, and signature punches to defeat the opposition. When punches land on an opponent, realistic sound effects can be heard. Screen shakes and slow motion effects are also employed to indicate damage inflicted. The game also includes several clips from live, professional boxing matches, including hard-hitting knockouts, a depiction of a promoter with a cigar, and Ring Card Girls in bikinis. A story-related segment depicts a magazine article on screen with a photo of a "penthouse pet" dressed in lingerie. Some song lyrics are suggestive (e.g. "these girls are really sleazy, all they just say is please me" and "A strip club stalker, late night street walker")
and make references to drugs (e.g., "They offer coke (and lots of dope) but we just leave it alone").
